I am grateful for the chance to share my music with you.  For me, it is a true expression of testimony.  Though I have always loved music, the content of this site really began somewhat recently. In 2020, as we all grappled with the world-wide pandemic, I picked up my guitar for the first time in 15 years. What began then has turned into a true spiritual pilgrimage for me. With each song, I've prayed intently for inspiration, and feel that these tracks are collaborative efforts between me and the Lord.  It has been sweet, indeed.

In terms of musical style, I consider my songs a bit different than a lot of works within the spiritual music genre. I tend to write songs like those I enjoy listening to, and the scope of my musical taste is broad.  So, in the process of writing music, and almost without realizing it, I came to take Galatians 5:22-23 as my guide.

 

"For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,

gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance;

against such there is no law"

As a disciple of Christ and a man of faith, I've learned that the Spirit speaks to us in many, many ways. The fruits are many and diverse, just as we are. I, myself, have felt the Spirit at times in my life as a solemn feeling of worship, as complete and utter joy, as pure excitement, as awe and wonder, as sudden knowledge, and so on. I realized that my songs had come to follow this same pattern - each representing different moods, motivations, topics, and even musical genres, and ultimately, eliciting distinct emotions. For better or worse - and I think it is better - no two songs sound or feel alike.

My goal is that in this catalogue, all Latter-day Saints and lovers of God may find something that speaks to them, in a manner that is unique and individually motivating.  In the end, I hope that my music helps others glorify Christ and His Church, as it has for me.
